Pure Blue JapanOG-019 Pant – Indigo/Brown

Pure Blue Japan’s unique ability to weave fabrics of incredible character reaches new heights with the release of the OG denim. The indigo warp uses organically cultivated cotton. PBJ then customizes a spinning machine to produce a weft of slubby and irregular yarn from recycled cotton using discarded t-shirts. PBJ has made use of the excess of the typically leftover fibres when long fibre cotton is harvested. This cotton has an amazing irregular texture and thanks to being left out in the sun to be scorched by the UV light, the color has shifted to a dark brown hue. The weft is dyed brown to give the jeans a deep indigo hue with plenty of potential for high contrast fades.

The denim has gone through a rinse process to remove shrinkage allowing for a ready to wear denim, no soak necessary.
